The 'classic dimension' version is the original version of the Eames Lounge Chair. The 'new dimension' version was introduced in order to cater for taller body types. It is recommended that if you are around 6ft 1 inches tall and above, you should consider choosing the new dimension version. The Ottoman is the same size for each version.
 
Material & finishes
Seat and backrest shells in moulded plywood with a Santos Palisander veneer. Upholstered in Vitra Premium leather in black, a smooth cowhide leather with a flat grain and fine top sheen. Thickness 1.1-1.3mm; fastness to light – Type 5. Base in black powder coated metal or polished aluminium.
